Santa Fe Christmas Eve Traditions

Christmas Eve 1982 at the Santuario de Guadalupe William Mullen in Santa Fe a new tradition transformed this holiday eve with performances of non-holiday music that has continued every year since. Despite a snow storm threatened to cancel the concert that stormy Christmas Eve, something extaordinairy happened. This talented group discovered that patrons will come on Christmas Eve no matter what the weather.
Since the holiday performances of 2001, the Musica de Camara Orchestra's 20th anniversary year, the performances have taken place at the Lensic Center for the Performing Arts. The 25th anniversary performance will take place on the Eve of Christmas, 2007 at 5:00 pm featuring music by Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Dellius and Dvorak. For tickets:
