Santa Fe Ski Season Postponed
November 21, 2007
Ski Santa Fe will postpone the start of the 2007/2008 ski season until after the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend. There has been an absence of natural snowfall and temperatures this year have been unseasonably warm which has resulted in delaying the season opening until we receive ample natural snowfall. Santa Fe Ski snowmaking crews are geared to hit the ground running on their snow guns as soon as temperatures fall to assist with getting the mountain open for our skiers and snow boarders. Ski Santa Fe states that the lifts can be opened within 48 hours as soon as the weather cooperates! The forecast is calling for snow over the holiday weekend so everyone think snow this weekend!!!
