A Merry New Mexico Christmas is part of this year's holiday festivities put on by Santa Fe's Desert Chorale. Their performance features guest harpist, Rosalind Simpson for Benjamin Britten's magnificent Ceremony of Carols and other works accompanied by flute, guitar and percussion. Highlights of their program have three lullabies representing traditions of Great Britain, Spain and Africa, and also songs from the Russian and Hebrew traditions. Their finale for the Chorale's holiday appearance will be their annual candlelight procession to Silent Night.
